Dear
Colleagues in Christ,
This Tuesday, June 8 at 10 a.m., we will
hold our monthly East Hawaii Ministerial Association meeting at the United Community
Church, corner of Kinoole and Mohouli streets. Mr. Norman Hayashi, from the
County Planning Department will be sharing with us. A number of our churches
are planning to build, or expand their facilities, and there is an interest
among our group to learn from him. We will also gather for prayer before the
meeting on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. I trust many of you will be able to come.
I will miss next Tuesday's meeting (my
family and I will be on vacation), Elden Buck will lead our meeting. We will
NOT be meeting during July and August.I wish you all a good summer. I hope you
will get some time for R & R to renew your zeal in the service of our King.

This
rally for young people from all churches offers fellowship, music, speakers,
drama, food, and games. Encourage your youth!
"A Christian Encounter with
Mormonism" - Saturday, July 17
Former
Hilo pastor, Mike Reynolds, now Director of the Utah Tract Society, will lead
this informative session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Hilo Baptist Church. The
cost is $ 5, $ 1 for
students;
sponsored by the Bible Institute of Hawaii - Hilo.
"The
Use of Story in Preaching" - Tuesday, September 14, 10 a.m.
Our
first Association meeting after the summer break. Pastor Al Ebal from the
Lutheran Church in Ewa Beach will share.
